The 2024 Cedars Auction & Raffle Soirée raised $570,000 and counting!

We are delighted to announce that the 34th edition of the Cedars Auction and Raffle, held on December 11 at Maison Principale, raised $570,000 and counting for the MUHC Division of Supportive and Palliative Care. We are extremely grateful to our main partners: Château d'Ivoire Jewelers, Scotiabank, The Rossy Foundation, and the Mirella and Lino Saputo Foundation.

Cedars CanSupport

Cedars CanSupport is a program run by professionals and volunteers that is funded and managed through the Cedars Foundation.
It offers a range of services to cancer patients and their families such as support groups, educational services, new patient orientation and humanitarian aid. It also provides complementary therapies such as art, music, meditation and yoga.

The 2023 edition of the annual Cedars Auction and Raffle, which was held in the magnificent Le Windsor Ballrooms on December 13, brought together over 650 guests and raised $633,000 – and counting – for the Psychosocial Oncology Program at the MUHC.

2023 Cedars Run for Ovarian Cancer

The 8th annual Cedars Run for Ovarian Cancer, which took place on Sunday, October 15, in the Town of Mount Royal, brought together over 480 participants, volunteers and guests, and raised over $135,000 for the DOvEEgene Research Program, which, under the leadership of renowned MUHC gynecological oncologist Dr. Lucy Gilbert, has developed a revolutionary new genomic test to detect ovarian and endometrial cancers as early as stage 1.

2023 Stroll and Dash

On Sunday, October 1, hundreds of people of all ages assembled in Danyluk Park, in the Town of Mount-Royal, to walk, run and play at the 22nd edition of Stroll & Dash (formerly known as Splash & Dash). The event raised over $175,000 for Sarah’s Fund for Cedars, which aims to improve support, care and outcomes for pediatric cancer patients and their families at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.

The Cedars Electric Car Raffle 2024 took place on October 3, 2024, at MINI Brossard. The holder of the winning ticket, number 0548, won a brand-new 2024 MINI Cooper SE 3 Door all-electric car valued at $60,133. Monday, June 17, 2024 – 266 golfers hit the links at the Royal Montreal Golf Club today for the 45th annual Cedars Golf Classic, raising over $601,500 to support innovation and excellence in surgical oncology at the MUHC’s Cedars Cancer Centre, the Montreal General Hospital (MGH).

Andrew J. Lutfy & Family Cedars Oncology Inpatient Unit

May 2nd 2023, the Oncology Inpatient Unit of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) was officially renamed “The Andrew J. Lutfy and Family Cedars Oncology Inpatient Unit”, in honour of Andrew Lutfy and his family, and in recognition of their $3.6 million donation to the Cedars Cancer Foundation (Cedars).

2023 Renoir en Rose

Over $77,000 was raised on Thursday, March, 23rd, as Renoir en Rose celebrated its 7th edition to support cancer research, education, and patient care! Founded by Renoir Restaurant executive chef, Olivier Perret, Chef Perret joined forces with Chefs Gregory Faye, Florimond Hannoteau, Alexandre Gosselin, Thierry & Maxime Rouyé, Dany Bolduc, Patrice Demers, and Roland Del Monte to create a memorable evening in support of two foundations very close to Chef Perret and his family.
