2024 Stroll & Dash

All proceeds from Stroll & Dash 2024 went to the H.O.P.E. (Hematology-Oncology Psychotherapy and Education) program being offered to the parents whose children are undergoing treatment for cancer on Sarah’s Floor at Montreal Children’s Hospital.  Established in 2023, the H.O.P.E. program is designed to provide psychological support to the parents coping with their child’s illness and hospitalization. By providing a safe space for parents to come together, this psycho-social initiative allows for parents to share their experiences, and to support one another through the emotional turbulence of having a child diagnosed with cancer.

Since 2001, Sarah’s Fund for Cedars has been fundraising to improve the experiences of children being treated for cancer at the Hematology-Oncology Division of the Montreal Children’s Hospital and to provide vital support to their families. It has allowed for the creation of numerous programs and enabled state-of-the-art upgrades to treatment rooms and research labs. In recognition of Sarah’s Fund’s generosity and commitment, the paediatric hematology-oncology unit at the Children’s was named Sarah’s Floor.
