This year’s event is a Special Tribute to the late Joe Cheaib
Cedars Vice Chair and past Co-Chair of the Auction and Raffle Soirée, Joe was a true gentleman who always stressed the importance of helping others and of giving back. He was a remarkable entrepreneur and philanthropist with a heart and a social conscience. Joe had a generosity of spirit and warmth that was so inspirational to all. He will be forever in our hearts.
The Cedars' Virtual Auction and Raffle 2020 will take place on Tuesday, December 15th from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. with a live stream and we would be honoured if you would consider sponsoring, participating, bidding on our Silent & Live Auction and buying Raffle Tickets on line at this year’s event.
This year, all proceeds will support the Psychosocial Oncology Program at the MUHC. This program offers cancer patients and their family free access to a team of psychologists and therapists to help them manage the social, psychological, emotional, spiritual and functional aspects of cancer. Remember even during COVID -19, cancer does not take a pause.
Ticket holders are in for a unique evening featuring Montreal’s Philanthropic Auctioneer, Ross Paperman, and our incredible Masters of Ceremony and CJAD 800AM Morning Man, Andrew Carter.
Each ticket gives you the chance to win over $50,000 in cash and an 18ct pink gold Calibre de Cartier Watch and a Happy Sport par Chopard Watch valued at over $44,380 (tax incl.). Special thank you to Chateau d’Ivoire Jewellers.
Beginning on noon on Tuesday, December 1, the online Silent Auction will go live and it will close at the end of the evening on Tuesday, December 15. You do not want to miss your chance to win some of the great items on our roster. Further details and Auction link will be available soon.

Stainless steel case with a 18kt rose gold and stainless steel bracelet. Fixed 18kt rose gold bezel. White dial with seven floating diamonds, rose gold hands and stick hour markers. Roman numerals mark the 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock positions. Date display between 4 and 5 o'clock positions. Quartz movement. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal.
Calibre de Cartier:
42 mm, Manufacture mechanical movement with automatic winding caliber 1904-PS MC. Steel and gold case, faceted steel crown set with a faceted synthetic blue spinel, partially snailed silvered opaline dial with stamped XII numeral, hour markers, aperture and counter. Exterior rail-track with 4 luminescent points, 7 Roman numerals and black transferred hour markers.
