The Foundation's core activities are devoted to supporting the Cedars Cancer Centre's activities and priorities at the MUHC, which have brought forth a new era of patient-centred cancer care in Montreal. Our community's generosity has helped Cedars regroup some of the finest cancer care facilities in the country under one roof. These include: an oncology day hospital with 50 spacious and luminous treatment stations; a palliative care day hospital; a dedicated oncology medical imaging department; a radiation oncology department complete with 8 linear accelerator bunkers; green spaces; and on-site resources offering health information, support groups and activities.
